Frequently Asked Questions

It's an all-in-1 pickle masala — the salt and vinegar are already balanced in. You just add oil, tempering and your fruit or vegetable.

Simply add:

  • Oil (gingelly/sesame oil works best)
  • A basic tempering (mustard seeds and curry leaves)
  • Your chosen fruit, vegetable or protein

That's all you need to make your pickle.

Yes. It's suitable for a wide variety of pickles, including mango, lemon, garlic and ginger, as well as prawn, chicken and fish.

No. Cookd Pickle Masala contains no artificial preservatives, colours or added flavours.

One 50 g pack is suitable for approximately 300 g of cut fruit, vegetables or protein, yielding around 20 servings per pouch.

Ideally the pickle should be prepared and soaked for 2 days at room temperature before consumption for best taste. Refrigerate after that.

When prepared correctly and covered with sufficient oil, the pickle stays fresh for approximately 3-4 weeks refrigerated.
