These are the terms for buying from the Cookd shop at shop.cookdtv.com. By placing an order, you're agreeing to them.
Who we are
Cookd shop is run by Cookd Ventures Private Limited ("Cookd", "we", "us"), registered in India, at AWFIS Building, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, OMR, Kandanchavadi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600096. When you buy from us, you're entering a contract with Cookd Ventures Private Limited — we make and sell the products ourselves; we're not a marketplace for other sellers.
You need to be 18 or older to place an order. If you're placing an order for someone under 18, you're doing it as their parent or guardian.
Prices and taxes
All prices on the shop are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes, unless a page says otherwise. Prices can change, and the price you pay is the one shown at checkout. If something is priced incorrectly by mistake and you've already ordered it, we'll contact you and refund you in full if we can't honour the price.
Product photos are for reference — actual packaging or contents may look slightly different. Weight, ingredients and other specifics are in the product description.
How an order is accepted
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a confirmed sale. We accept it when we confirm and process it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if something is out of stock, mispriced, undeliverable to your address, or looks fraudulent — and if we do, we'll tell you and refund any payment you've made.
Payment
Payments are handled by our third-party payment gateway. We don't store your card, UPI or bank details. If a payment is deducted but your order isn't confirmed, contact us and we'll help sort it out.
Delivery
See our Shipping policy for processing times, delivery timelines, and international shipping. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown at checkout. Please double-check your delivery address — we're not responsible for a failed delivery caused by an incorrect address.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel an order any time before it ships, by emailing support@cookdtv.com or messaging WhatsApp 9884344221. Once it has shipped, it can't be cancelled. See our Refund policy for refund timelines and other rules.
If your order arrives damaged, or isn't what you ordered, you can have it replaced or refunded — your choice. Damaged means the masala pack itself is torn, split, leaking or open; a knocked-about outer carton with intact packs inside isn't a damaged order. Tell us within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the packs and the carton.
Products and allergens
Our products are food items. Ingredients and allergen information are printed on the packaging — please check them if you have allergies or dietary restrictions before you eat anything you've ordered. Taste is subjective, so we can't offer a refund just because a product isn't to your taste (see the Refund policy for what does qualify).
Out of stock or can't be delivered
If a product goes out of stock after you've ordered, or your pincode isn't one we can deliver to, we'll cancel that part of your order and refund you in full, or offer you the chance to give us an alternative address — see the Shipping policy for details.
Your content
If you post a tip, a photo, a review, or other content about our products, you're giving Cookd the right to use it — including in our marketing, on the shop, on our app and website, and on social media — crediting you by the display name you post under. We can remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
What we're not responsible for
We try to get every order right, but we're not liable for indirect losses (like loss of profit or data) arising from your use of the shop, beyond what the law requires. Nothing here limits your rights under Indian consumer protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
