This page covers the Cookd shop at shop.cookdtv.com, where you buy Cookd masalas, kits and other products. Cookd's full privacy policy — covering the Cookd app and website too — is at www.cookdtv.com/privacy-policy. If anything here seems to disagree with that policy, the full policy is the one that's correct; tell us at support@cookdtv.com so we can fix this page.

What we collect when you order

To take and deliver your order, we collect your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, and what you bought. You give us this at checkout, which runs on Shopify, our e-commerce platform.

Who it goes to

  • Shopify runs our checkout and stores your order details.
  • Our courier partner gets your name, address and phone number to deliver the order.
  • Our payment gateway handles your payment. Cookd never sees or stores your card, UPI or bank details — we don't have them to lose.
  • We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as your account or order history is useful to you. Financial records, like invoices, are kept for 8 years, because Indian tax and GST rules require it. Backups of our systems are kept for 90 days and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll delete what we can straight away — the exceptions are the financial and backup records above, which we keep only as long as the law requires.

If you also have a Cookd app or website account, you can manage that account's data at cookdtv.com/account or delete it at cookdtv.com/delete-account.

Cookies

The shop uses Shopify's own cookies to run checkout and remember your cart. See the full privacy policy for the cookies used on the Cookd app and website.
